BIO

He was born in 1973 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Went to Sankt Annae Gymnasium, sang as a soloist in the world famous

boys choir at the age of eight.

Left school at the age of sixteen, and started to make music on armature basis in the Danish Hip-Hop underground,

But became professional just to years later, when releasing his first record "JOY".

Now he was on a roll, and was on his way to riches.

He was contacted by the Swedish top selling group

TREBLE N BASS in 1993, and asked to be the third official member,

And witch he considered for almost two month, before accepting the offer.

They recorded the platinum album CANNED in the winter of 1993,

signed up with WEA and MCA MUSIC WORLDWIDE.

While living in Sweden they went touring in Sweden,

And Europe for almost two years,

With ACE OF BASS, PRODIGY, STAKKA BO, DJ BOBO and

LUTRICIA McNEAL , ROB N RAZ, BOYZONE, among others.

When touring, fans, and star status became to much for SODAPOP,

He went left TREBLE N BASS officially,

And on a three-month long holiday in New York in 1995.

There he was offered by JAMES JACKSON (MCA / Motown) to stay and work with song writher ROSETTA STONE,

But it only became to three songs, one song which is

SOMETHING 4 THE PEOPLE and their first US platinum single.

He went back to Denmark in fall of 1995, and was assigned to produce

FACTUAL BEAT for Ali now known as DJ ALIGATOR,

And while working with the album, they together signed RENE DIFF to rap on the album, And SODAPOP developed the style that is also used by

RENE DIFF on the platinum AQUA album.

During the following two years he mostly produced and remix Danish artist like MICHAEL MOORE, SOUND OF SEDUCTION, GANDI, ZIDIDADA, OUT OF MIND, TREBLE N BASS, FAITHLESS, KOLIG KAJ, PASS IT ON, DJ ALIGATOR and JON (popstars) among others.

After a smooth retirement in 1997, SODAPOP left the music scene, and bought him self a brand new BAYLINER Ciera 2855 Sunbridge

boat to live on, and to escape release parties, jet-set receptions and other wannabe get together.

His love for his music was not gone, and during the next two years, he was helping his producer friends with their albums, and writhing song for upcoming artist on a non-profit basis.

In march of 2000 he packed his bag and boat and moved to COSTA DEL SOL in sunny Spain, to live with his girlfriend,

and becoming Spanish and a part of the culture, gave SODAPOP

new energy and inspiration to do what he is best at; Music,

And  in the hot summer of 2001, he left southern Spain and his girlfriend, to develop a new genre of POP and R & B in Denmark.

When arriving in the heart of Copenhagen, he invested in his new digital studio, and the base for the new genre was formed not long after,  and can be heard on the FAITHLESS “Cracy English Summer Remix” &  JUPITER DAY Remix.

Due to invisible guests with negative energy (ghosts), heavy Danish taxes and bad weather, SODAPOP moved his studio and home to Tobago in the Caribbean just four months after arriving in Denmark,

where he was working on a new albums and exclusive remixes. He now is curently in Denmark, after a working holliday in Fuerteventura as a PADI DIVEMASTER, and are now working in his own Tattoo shop in Copehagen, and will soon open up one more in Tobago around August 2003.

AFTER 12 YEARS and 32 RECORDS, SODAPOP IS NO LONGER MAKING MUSIC...thanks for now.
